Who runs this site

Puigpunyent.com is an independent guide to Puigpunyent, Galilea and Son Serralta in Mallorca's Serra de Tramuntana. It is run by Darryl Lopes, who lives in the south-west of Mallorca, and it launched in October 2026. It is not the official website of the town hall, which is at ajpuigpunyent.net.

How we check facts

We write from public sources: the town hall and its tourism pages, the Consell de Mallorca, TIB, the local and island press, route guides and the businesses themselves. Wherever a page makes a specific claim, such as a date, a price or a timetable, we link to where it came from and say when we checked it.

When sources disagree, we say so rather than pick one. When we cannot confirm something, we leave it out. If you spot a mistake, tell us and we will correct it.

How we make money

The site is free to read. It is paid for by advertising and featured listings, which are always labelled, and by introductions: when a buyer asks about a home or a reader asks for a tradesperson, we pass the request to the right agent or professional, who may pay us a fee. Listings that are not paid for are shown in no paid order.

Languages

Pages are written in English. German and Spanish versions are translated with the help of AI tools; if something reads wrongly in your language, let us know.
