Half a dayPuigpunyent
Start at the parish church of the Assumpció in Sa Vila, rebuilt in neoclassical style over an older Gothic church, with Sa Taverna, the old Civil Guard barracks, Can Felet, the old town hall and the rectory around it. Cross the bridge over the Riera to the newer village and the town hall, with the Pou Nou, a 19th-century well restored in 1982, and Guillem Forteza's 1929 school close by. Climb into Son Bru, laid out on plots of the old estate between 1784 and 1818, pass Ca ses Monges on Carrer Major with the Villalonga arms over its door, and finish at the Comellar dels Romeguers, at the end of Carrer de na Beltrana, looking over the Son Puig valley.
Look out for the carob tree of Ses Sabates on the way in from Superna, where farm workers once swapped into their good shoes before walking into the village for mass.
An hour or twoGalilea
Terraced like an amphitheatre on the hill: the church square and its view, the snow house dug into Sa Mola, the Can Soler windmills, Ca sa Mestra, the painted tiles of Carrer Clapers and the public well on Camí des Rafal.

An hourSon Serralta
Walk round the talaiot of Serral de ses Abelles, where a 3,200-year-old sword was identified in 2019. Its entrance passage still stands, and the valley views are wide. Casa del Gegant, the most monumental talaiot in the municipality, is about 1 km away.
