Calvià side

The Finca Pública
de Galatzó.

The estate on the southern side of the mountain has belonged to Calvià town hall since the deed was signed on 16 May 2006. It is now a public estate with marked routes from half an hour to a full day, an old oil mill, a chapel, a botanical garden and a hikers' refuge on the dry-stone route.

Entry and parking are free. The entrance is at km 2.2 of the road from Es Capdellà to Galilea, and dogs are not allowed. In early 2026 the main house was closed for renovation while the trails stayed open, so check before you plan a visit to the buildings.

In the 18th century the Galatzó houses belonged to the Comte Mal, which is why his ghost is said to ride this mountain. Read the legend.
