How to enrol

Four steps
for a state school.

1

Register as a resident

Sign on to the padró at the town hall (971 61 44 55) or online. Schools, the health card and free buses all depend on it.

2

Watch the dates

The Balearic education department runs one main application round each spring for the following September; dates are published on its schools website.

3

Arriving mid-year?

Children can join during the school year. Contact the school or the department's schools office as soon as you have an address.

4

Visit

Ask CEIP Puig de na Fàtima for a visit before you decide; small village schools are usually happy to show families round.

Rules and dates change every year; check with the school and the Balearic schools office. Thinking of buying? See homes for sale and the free buyer's guide.
