Easiest · door to door

Private transfer

A driver meets you in arrivals with your name and takes you to the door, with flight tracking if you land late. Online quotes in October 2026 were about €100 one way for a car for up to three people, and more for a minivan.

Taxi

Official taxis wait outside arrivals. The fare is metered, so it depends on the time of day and traffic; ask the driver for an estimate before you set off.

Freedom

Hire car

Pick up at the airport and drive the Ma-20 ring road and the Ma-1041 to the village. A car makes the walks, beaches and Galilea much easier. Choose a small one for the mountain roads.

Cheapest

Two buses

Take the EMT A1 airport bus to Plaça d'Espanya in Palma (about 20 minutes; €3 by card or €5 in cash in 2026), then TIB line 201 from the Estació Intermodal to Son Serralta, Puigpunyent and Galilea.

Driving

The route
by road.

  • 1Leave the airport on the Ma-19 towards Palma, then take the Ma-20 ring road (Vía de Cintura) west.
  • 2Leave the Ma-20 at the Puigpunyent exit and follow the Ma-1041 out of Palma, through Son Serralta, to the village.
  • 3The last stretch is a quiet valley road. Watch for cyclists and give them 1.5 m when you pass. Cycling here
